I was just in Manhattan and made a point to go to one of the "best slices in ny" places. For my money Ramunto's is as good or better than the best in ny.
When I plan to meet my buddy for beers here, I'm not looking forward to the slices all day. But for days ahead of time. -

Went here after checking out Dartmouth. Never in my life have I wanted a restaurant to be closer to my home more!
The simplicity of this seemingly normal restaurant lets it shine. It's just pizza for a good price with really friendly service and a comfortable atmosphere. I got pesto and ricotta on my pizza, and both toppings were put on generously and were extremely fresh and flavorful. Same goes for the pizza as a whole; I usually take advantage of the free oregano and garlic salt at pizza joints, but here I completely forgot about them.
The slices are also really big. A large pizza split between two people can easily serve for two meals.
For someone who's used to being ripped off at pizza places with small slices and minimal toppings, Ramunto's is a breath of fresh air. -

Easygoing pizza spot. Buy at the counter; get a whole pie or a slice. Many lunch specials during the week.
Great beer selection, solid slate of NE brews.
Pro tip- if ordering a whole pie, prices for toppings are the same regardless of size so might as well get a big one and have leftovers. Vegans need to order a whole pie (they have daiya cheeze I believe) so like I said, might as well make it huge! I got a gigantic large pizza w daiya and mushrooms for around $19 and that thing will feed me for a couple days.
Enjoyed it! -

Stopped in on a whim with the hangries over coming me, while the pizza was good the beer was not in chilled glasses, a must for a brew house. Now remember when they say stick to the basics, salad is not your strong point. If you can't do it right dont do it at all. Just saying. Kudos on the beer choices. Lack of employee structure on a Saturday afternoon, who does what...who's on thrid... omg. Air conditioning, um its 90 degrees today.

If there was a way to put no stars I would! Today my sister and I ordered takeout to have lunch with my mom while she's in a nursing home.
We ordered lasagna dinner and chicken Parm dinner to share.
When ordering we asked for extra Parm cheese. None came. The lasagna was merely one sheet of pasta with ricotta slightly smeared on it with one more sheet of pasta on top. The tin was literally filled with jut sauce!
We called to complain and the manager offered us another meal. No thanks, considering you told me this was correct.
No meat! Our chicken Parm was merely strips of chicken not breaded that tasted like it had been sitting in the fridge for days aNd the spaghetti sauce tasted like something from a jar.
